Hannah & Marcus | The Hall Barns
Hannah and Marcus’s June wedding at The Hall Barns was the perfect blend of romance, elegance, and soft spring charm. Their vision centred around a pastel palette with delicate touches of blue that suited both the season and the venue beautifully.
A Soft, Romantic Vision
From the beginning, Hannah and Marcus were drawn to a pastel scheme with subtle blue accents. They wanted something romantic but not overly sweet — elegant without feeling formal. The result was a beautifully balanced aesthetic: soft, airy, and full of movement, with just enough colour to bring the whole look to life.
Styling the Ceremony & Reception
For the ceremony, we created a romantic focal point with a full white drape running the length of the aisle, adding softness and height. Dusky pink chair drapes framed the aisle, bringing a gentle wash of colour that tied seamlessly into the floral palette.
The reception styling continued this refined, romantic feel. Tables were dressed with knotted chiffon napkins and a dusky pink table runner, adding texture and warmth. Brass taper candle holders introduced a touch of luxury, paired with pale pink, ivory, and dusky rose candles to create a soft glow as guests took their seats.
The couple chose a brass holder for their table numbers, each holding a lovely photograph of Hannah and Marcus as they grew up together. They also added texture to the venue’s wooden white tables with a seagrass charger, layered with a beautiful ivory menu and a pale blue place card attached by a soft pale pink ribbon — on top of which lay a bespoke biscuit favour complete with the couple’s names and wedding date.
The Flowers: Spring Abundance
The floral designs were filled with early spring blooms full of scent, texture, and natural movement. Blue Oxypetalum and Nigella added those delicate blue notes the couple loved, woven through peach, ivory, and pink Roses and Lisianthus. The couple chose bud vases to line the trestle tables, adding scent, texture, and colour to the guest tables.
