Our Story
How LK Wedding Studio came to be
LK Wedding Studio is a wedding flower and wedding venue styling studio, created by lifelong friends, Kerry and Laura.
We are a qualified florist and wedding stylist, supported by a very talented team of additional florists, stylists, and carpenters who collaborate on our projects.
Based in Leicestershire, we travel around the whole of the UK including Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, the Cotswolds and beyond!
We combine abundant wedding flowers with timeless styling to create a wedding that represents our couples, wows your guests and really enhances your venue. We only source the most scent filled, beautiful flowers, often adding a few home grown stems for that extra special touch.

Laura Young
Stylist
Formerly a primary school teacher, Laura brings meticulous organisational skills to venue styling. She describes herself as inherently romantic, enjoys travelling, and shares her life with two miniature dachshunds, Buddy and Belle. Laura's eye for detail ensures every styling element is perfectly placed.
Kerry Downes
Florist
A wife and mother to daughter Florence, Kerry founded Florence & Hope Flower Studio in 2020 after formal florist training. She and Laura established LK Wedding Studio in 2024, merging their passions for floristry and weddings. Kerry brings her expertise in creating abundant, scent-filled arrangements that make every wedding truly special.
We're also supported by a talented team of additional florists, stylists, and carpenters who help bring our visions to life.

While we call Frisby On The Wreake, Leicestershire home, we regularly travel throughout the UK to style weddings at beautiful venues.
